One year. Two major recognitions. Dozens of businesses served. And a whole lot of reason to celebrate.
When Buried Treasure Marketing was launched in Treasure Island, Florida, the goal was straightforward: build a different kind of digital marketing agency—one that combines the marketing principles that have worked for generations with the technology and targeting capabilities available today.
One year later, that vision is turning into something much bigger.
Buried Treasure Marketing is celebrating its first anniversary, and what a first year it has been.
Founded by Bill Moore, a longtime Tampa Bay media and marketing professional, Buried Treasure Marketing was created around a simple philosophy: strategy first, technology second.
Rather than chasing every new marketing buzzword or promising overnight results, BTM focuses on understanding a client’s business, identifying the right audience and building marketing programs designed to produce measurable results.
And during its first year, that approach has already earned some significant recognition.
A First-Year Milestone: The Glazer Family Small Business Fund Grant
One of the highlights of Buried Treasure Marketing’s first year was being selected to receive a Glazer Family Small Business Fund grant.
The grant is particularly meaningful because of what it represents: recognition and support for small businesses working to grow, innovate and make an impact in their communities.
For a young company like Buried Treasure Marketing, the award provided more than financial support. It was validation that the company’s approach and vision could make a difference in the competitive world of digital marketing.
The Glazer Family Small Business Fund has a strong connection to the Tampa Bay business community, making the recognition especially meaningful for a company that was born and built right here in the region.
Best of Florida Recognition
The celebrations continued when Buried Treasure Marketing was named a 2026 Best of Florida Regional Winner.
For a company celebrating its first year, being recognized among businesses throughout Florida was a tremendous accomplishment.
The Best of Florida recognition is also a reflection of something that has been important to BTM from day one: earning the trust of clients and the local business community.
Digital marketing can be filled with complicated technology, changing algorithms and constantly evolving platforms. But at the heart of every successful campaign is something much simpler—understanding people and connecting the right message with the right audience.
That is where BTM believes its experience makes a difference.
Experience Behind a New Company
While Buried Treasure Marketing is celebrating its first year as a company, its foundation is built on decades of marketing, media and sales experience.
Founder and President Bill Moore has spent years working with businesses to develop marketing strategies, generate leads and connect brands with consumers.
That experience helped shape the BTM model.
The company combines traditional marketing fundamentals—understanding the customer, developing the right message, choosing the right audience and measuring results—with today’s digital capabilities, including programmatic advertising, streaming TV and audio, search marketing, social media, geofencing, retargeting, SEO and emerging AI-powered marketing technologies.
The result is an approach BTM describes simply:
Old-school marketing strategy. New-world technology. Better results.
Built in Tampa Bay, Focused on Relationships
There is another reason this first anniversary is particularly special.
Buried Treasure Marketing wasn’t created to be just another online marketing company. It was created in the Tampa Bay community.
From Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach to businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond, BTM has focused on developing relationships with business owners and marketing professionals who want more from their advertising investment.
That local connection is important to Moore.
After years in the Tampa Bay media and marketing community, he understands that small and midsized businesses don’t necessarily need a massive agency with layers of account executives and bureaucracy.
They need people who understand their business, know how to reach their customers and can explain what their marketing dollars are actually accomplishing.
Looking Back—and Looking Ahead
The first year has provided plenty to celebrate: the Glazer Family Small Business Fund grant, the Best of Florida recognition, new clients, new partnerships and the opportunity to help businesses grow through smarter digital marketing.
But perhaps the biggest accomplishment is simply getting started.
Building a business from the ground up takes persistence, creativity, patience and a willingness to keep learning. The digital advertising industry changes constantly, and BTM has embraced that challenge while staying grounded in the fundamentals of good marketing.
As Buried Treasure Marketing enters its second year, the mission remains the same:
Help businesses uncover the opportunities hidden within their marketing—and turn those opportunities into measurable results.
There are plenty of treasures still to uncover.
Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
To the clients who trusted Buried Treasure Marketing during its first year, the business owners who opened their doors, the marketing professionals who partnered with BTM, the community members who offered encouragement and everyone who helped spread the word—thank you.
A first anniversary is more than a date on the calendar. It’s a chance to stop, look back and appreciate how far you’ve come.
For Buried Treasure Marketing, the journey is just beginning.
One year down. Many more treasures to uncover.
